Reward Points:
Members earn
reward points for every product that is purchased. (Donations are not a
product and do not earn reward points) These points are accumulated in the
members profile and do not have an expiraation date. These points can be used to
purchase products from the website. Points are earned at a rate of 1 point for
each whole dollar spent on products prices. Tax, shipping, delivery and other
fees do not accumulate points. Points are redeemed at a rate of 50 points =
$1.00. Points can be transferred from one account to another by contacting
customer service. To view your current points, simply click on the reward points
link located on the top left side of the page. (Accumulated points do not appear
in reward points section, orders that are still being "processed" will show up
in the "Order Management" section but the points will not have been added to
your account until the order is "completed") Each item will show how many points
are needed to purchase each individual item next to the price. In order to use
your points to purchase products you will need to choose the "Points" option in
the payment method section during checkout. Points can be used as partial
payment for your order, however any applicable taxes are based on total sale
price prior to any point use in each transaction.
Order Management: Members have access to a
complete history of all of the orders that have been placed using their username
and password. This feature is found on the top right side of the screen under
"Order Management". Members can check the status of current orders, in real
time, just by clicking on the link. All orders start out as "processed" on the
order management screen. What this means is that your order has been processed
through the billing system and is on its way to the fulfillment center. When the
order reached the fulfillment center, a order processor assigns the order based
on the delivery date and zip code, once this is done the order status is changed
to "queued" and will show that way on the order management screen. The last step
is when the order has been delivered, then the status is changed to "complete".
This system allows our members to have an understanding at all times what the
status of their order is as well as when it has been delivered. (No specific
times are able to be given, just the fact that the order has been delivered)
This reporting system will also show the member if there was a problem with the
order by adding additional flag's to the order, such as , "Not Finished",
Declined", Back-ordered" or "Failed". Another helpfull feature of the Order
Management, is the ability to see detailed information about previous
transactions and the ability to utilize search criteria to maximize desired
results in a quick and efficient manner.
Reminders/Address Book: Members have the ability to quickly and
efficiently access and save address in a secure address book section. This
address book can be updated and accessed from virtually anywhere on the website.
Once the member is in the address book, they can set e-mail reminders of
imporatnt days and notification times for those events to insure that important
moments will not be forgotten. When a member has chosen the product that they
wish to purchase, they can simply choose from a drop down menu that clearly
displays their address book names. Once the name is selected, the required data
is filled in automatically for the member as well as any other saved "special
instructions" that may pertain to that particular recipient. For instance, if
the member were to send a product to one of their relatives house and
the relative wore hearing aide's, then the "special instruction" box
should tell the delivery person "Please knock especially loud, hearing
aide's in use", this information is saved in the address profile for
future orders and will also be filled in automatically. (Update address
book function may be required to change
information)
